Ugitech and Damstahl present Green Steel Stainless+

The UGIMA®-X grades from the French steel manufacturer Ugitech are well-known for their high quality and numerous benefits.

Now, The UGIMA®-X quality has been improved with a remarkable green upgrade. The name is Green Steel Stainless+, and the first batch of UGIMA®-X products is now exclusively available at Damstahl. 

The best bars on the market just got greener 

The environmental benefits of the Green Steel Stainless+ material are undeniable.  

The UGIMA®-X 4404 Green Steel Stainless+ grade ensures that customers receive bars consisting of at least 95% recycled steel. This means that the emissions from your purchased materials are reduced by a remarkable 60% due to the significantly reduced need for new raw materials.

In addition to the obvious environmental benefit of the material's high scrap content and thus significant reduction in CO2 footprint, the Green Steel Stainless+ material also contains precisely the same advantages as the rest of the UGIMA-X range. This means that the high quality of UGIMA®-X ensures that customers achieve, among other things, a productivity increase of +10-20% and a tool life extended by 25-50%. These benefits contribute to cost savings in production and, not least, a further reduction of the overall CO2 footprint.
