With effect as per 1 October, the Damstahl Group has appointed a new CEO for the Finnish activities within distribution of stainless steel and metals.
With effect as per 1 October, the Damstahl Group has appointed a new CEO for the Finnish activities within distribution of stainless steel and metals.
Since 2018, Hämeenlinna has formed the base for Damstahl in serving the Finnish market with stainless steel and other metals. With the present CEO, Henrik Ørskov, a solid foundation has been laid for the Damstahl Oy, and now the organization is ready to let Henrik Ørskov focus on his extended role as CPO & Supply Chain Director for all Nordic activities of the Damstahl Group. To ensure continued focus on further developing in the Finnish market, another strong profile from the Damstahl organization will take over the role as CEO.
As per 1 October 2023, Patrik Leijon will take over the responsibility for Damstahl’s operations in Finland. This will be in addition to his CEO function also for Sweden, Norway, and the Baltics.
Patrik Leijon, who is 40 years old and lives in Malmoe, has a degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from Henley Business School in the UK. He comes with a broad industry experience, both managerial and commercial, within sales, key account management and top management. He has spent his entire professional life in the steel business, first in production and then in distribution with the past 15 years at Damstahl.
