Na bijna 15 jaar heeft Damstahl besloten een hoofdstuk af te sluiten met de sluiting van ons Benelux-kantoor in Henrik Ido Ambacht. Het is een ongelooflijke reis geweest en we willen jullie bedanken voor jullie loyaliteit, vertrouwen en samenwerking.
Maar dit is niet het einde - het is een nieuw begin! Vanaf nu worden je roestvrijstalen behoeften deskundig behandeld door twee gespecialiseerde partners:
- Delta Inox: Voor fittingen, flenzen, buizen, met een frisse, moderne kijk.
- MCB: Voor staven en andere producten, met dezelfde kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid die je gewend bent.

Damstahl en MCB hebben een distributieovereenkomst gesloten voor de Nederlandse en Belgische markt voor roestvast stalen staven.
Hierbij zal MCB het brede productassortiment van Damstahl distribueren met een speciale focus op roestvast stalen staven en holle staven.
“Deze overeenkomst is een grote stap voor de klanten van Damstahl. Met de distributiemogelijkheden binnen MCB, die dagelijks met 130 vrachtwagens levert, zal het serviceaanbod aanzienlijk worden uitgebreid. Het is onze duidelijke analyse van de marktsituatie dat nauwere samenwerkingen en partnerschappen van essentieel belang zijn om te kunnen concurreren en om op tijd een kwaliteitsproduct te kunnen leveren”, vervolgt Michael Lund Group CEO van Damstahl. “Voor Damstahl betekent dit een 'afscheid' van directe facturering aan klanten in Nederland en België. In de toekomst zullen onze staafactiviteiten worden verkocht via MCB, terwijl onze activiteiten op het gebied van buizen, fittingen en flenzen zullen worden ondergebracht bij ons bedrijf Delta Inox”, aldus Michael Lund.
Vanuit het perspectief van MCB is de overeenkomst met Damstahl ook een grote stap in de richting van het worden van een complete one-stop-shop leverancier in koolstof- en roestvast staal. “Het is duidelijk dat het brede productassortiment van Damstahl een interessante aanwinst voor ons is. We kunnen meer dan tien roestvast staalsoorten aan ons assortiment toevoegen. Dit geeft ons een duidelijke voorsprong op de concurrentie met snelle en betrouwbare leveringen op basis van de nieuwe high bay technologie die Damstahl ons kan leveren vanuit hun magazijn in Langenfeld bij Düsseldorf”, zegt Erik Spikmans, Sales Director van MCB.
Het is ook met groot genoegen dat de partijen kunnen aankondigen dat Mark Pieron, voorheen Country Manager van Damstahl BV, een positie zal innemen als Transition Manager bij MCB Direct in Breda, van waaruit hij zal zorgen voor een soepele overgang.
De overeenkomst is ingegaan op 01.01.2025.

Damstahl and MCB have entered into a distribution agreement covering the Dutch and Belgium market for Stainless Steel bars.
Thereby MCB will distribute the wide product range of Damstahl with a special focus on stainless steel bars and hollow bars.
“This agreement will be a great step for the customers of Damstahl. With the distribution possibilities within MCB, delivering with 130 trucks on a daily basis, the service offer will expand significantly. It is our clear analyze of the market situation that closer cooperations and partnerships are of essential to compete and making us supply a quality product in time”, continues Michael Lund Group CEO of Damstahl. “For Damstahl, this marks a ‘farewell’ to direct invoicing to customers in the Netherlands and Belgium. In the future, our bars business will be sold through MCB whilst our business for tubes, fittings and flanges will be moved to our company Delta Inox”, Mr. Lund states.
From the perspective of MCB, the agreement with Damstahl is also a great step in the direction of becoming a complete one stop shop provider within carbon and stainless steel. “It is clear that the wide product range of Damstahl is an interesting asset for us. We can add more than ten stainless steel grades to our assortment. This brings us clearly ahead of competition with fast and reliable deliveries based on the new high bay technology Damstahl can provide us with from their warehouse in Langenfeld by Düsseldorf”, says Erik Spikmans, Sales Director of MCB.
It is also with great pleasure that the parties can announce that Mark Pieron, formerly Country Manager of Damstahl BV, will take a position as Transition Manager based at MCB Direct in Breda from where he will ensure a smooth transition.
The agreement came into effect on 01.01.2025.
